Get The Good Dirt (Out) Here.....

Looking at me, most of you have NO idea how cheap I am, My dad interjects "Your not cheap so you can save, Your Cheap so you can spend somewhere else" I think it's the old adage save a penny to spend a buck? Something of that nature! This being said, I've looked at all the things I hate spending on such as LAUNDRY DETERGENT, diapers, formula etc... Although I can't bring myself to ever try cloth diapers or breast feeding for more then 7 months those areas can only be curbed so much! Laundry Detergent on the other hand can be slashed! (side note) Its great for people with sensitive skin, my hubby has eczema and this really does the trick when he's having a flare up!

Here Ye Here Ye Is My Secret Recipe!

Recipe # 9

12 Cups of Borax - Borax is hard to find, Walmart has it! It's cheap so buy what they have cause its randomly stocked....

8 Cups of Baking Soda- I use the brand Arm & Hammer Deodorizer

8 Cups Washing Soda - This is where you can add, a scent if you want?

8 Cups of Bar Soap Grated- I use Zote Laundry Soap, this can also be found at Walmart Its PINK and costs about .80 cents or so!

I recommend getting a cheap cheese grater that you save just more making your detergent you'll be glad you won't have to worry about your food tasting like SOAP!! He He He He I've found using the smallest size on the grater helps the soap dissolve quicker in the wash!

I also recommend getting a cheap sealed tub, to keep the bulk of it in... save your old detergent container to refill!

Also I always double the recipe, you'll get double out of everything... Expect the bar of soap, which is so cheap you can just grab a few to have on hand!

I used to have the "old" style machines (top loaders) and it works great, we just got a hand me down fancy May Tag front loader, and I haven't had any issues using this soap with either!

Happy Laundry... Let me know if You try it!
