Choices, Choices......

This is what I started with in my entry way... I was given this frame for our wedding, from some really good friends and I love it, I actually am moving it to my bedroom... Hopefully there it will remind us of where we started!

The Prosser's EST. 2005
I Found this antique frame at a yard sale last weekend and couldn't resist!!!! Really I was hoarding it the whole time I was there!!! As if there was someone there who was going to steal it from me!
The frame didn't need anything done to it, I loved the natural distress it had to it and the gold color worked perfect with my wall color!
BUT..... HUMMMMM.... What to fill it with......
Test One.....

Aww... Test Two.. Found this Lil wreath downtown at my fav Lil country store!
Did just the thing! :)

I'm planning on changing it out through the seasons... It's amazing what you can do with a blank frame!

Joys Of June...

Another Old Find, that was up in my parents storage. I love finding things up there brings back a lot of good memories... The story to this piece: It was used at my parents store to display cleaners, I remember stocking it as a Lil girl! It was a light pink color before I got my hands on it! :)
Here's what I started with, its such a odd place in my bathroom? There is absolutely no place for storage in our master bathroom. I found this wire rack a while back at a antique store, I'm pretty sure it was supposed to be used for plants? It just wasn't doing to the trick...
Here's the above piece I was talking about! Of course I had to paint it... My Dad jokes, if you stand around my house long enough you might just get painted black yourself! He's pretty funny!
I think it looks much more finished!

A place for all my goodies...

Sorry The pictures weren't that great, I guess that's what you get when it's 11 o clock and your trying to use your I phone!
All In All I'm excited to see how this works out here... But You and I both know I'm always up for a change so who knows if something better just might come along!

You Rule....

First Off I Found These on another blog site I follow all the time! So I can't take credit! But I still wanted to share! They weren't the easiest things I've ever made but the results were great, to see the faces on the teachers even better!!!
Thanks Bee in a Bonnet for the great way of thanking our school teachers!
Easy Tip - Edwards Candy Supply Store in Modesto off of Bangs, they sell the pre made drizzle icing it made it really easy to just mix the food color in and pour straight over the sugar cookies. I also purchased the black icing the same way as well as piping bag!
Note: The Icing Lasts up to 6 months and was only 6-dollars!

The Good Life

Life doesn't get much better!

Joys Of June...

Here's The Original Inspiration... This light Retails Over 300.00

This is Really one of My greatest fines, for the time being of course! I found this beauty for 35- It took me about a week or so to actually decide on keeping or taking off the gold scrolls, painting it or not... and of course where to put it in my home!
My hubby has a habit of cleaning up the garage in a hurry and when he does he doesn't give much heads up... So needless to say I didn't get to put my 2 cents in before he spray painted the whole thing black with the gold scrolls still attached....

Here's the Before and after! I splurged on the candle stick covers they were 28 for two, so I paid more for those then I did for the light... I must say it really completed the look I was going for!

Here's are Plain Jane, good ol track home quality fixture that was there prior....
(This area is where a table is supposed to be but I flip flopped it to be a nook seating area, however either way I use it, it works!)

Wal-La.... Pretty Good if I do say so my self! I think I will add (which my hubby will kill me) is a bit bigger cover at the base of the light to make things a bit more dramatic..... Who doesn't love a Lil Drama... Tee He....
