Back To School Anyone?

I hosted a small lunch for my daughter Layla after she graduated from Sacred Heart Preschool this past June. I know Graduation Parties are over for now but I wanted to share a few of my ideas. They Could easily be used for a back to school party with some long lost classmates or a first day treat for a special teacher!
 All Supplies from the dollar store... Pretty Simple!
 Wrap the pencils around the container and fill with fresh flowers...
Depending on the height of the container you may have to cut the pencils down, this was a bit messy and would advise to do it out side or to cover your table before you start trimming away!

I'm Back....


SORRY For the long pause in blogging to those of you who like to see what I'm up to... It's been a whirl wind these last few months.... Baby Dedications, Preschool Graduation, Dance Recital, Birthday Parties.... Uhew Did I mention MOVING... Yes MOVING the Prosser's are now in "Town"... Were loving are new place, and are so grateful for the opportunity to get to dig our hands into this beautiful 100 year old home... Yes Folks a 100 years of wall paper, green shaggy carpet, iron railings did I mention wall paper... Hope you've missed me I know I sure have missed sharing my latest creations... :)

Carrots Anyone....

 Carrots Anyone... I Made Chocolate dipped Marshmallows for Valentines Day, when I came across these JUMBO Marshmallows I had to use them, so what a better way then to turn them into something HEALTHY!!! Not quite.... So here they are....

Whatcha Need... Jumbo Marshmallows
Bag of Melting Chocolate in colors Orange and Green
Lolli Pop Sticks

I dipped the orange chocolate first then with a knife or large spatula I iced it around the edges...Then took the green chocolate and lightly dipped the top, quickly apply the green sprinkles....

A Long Week of Firsts...

A Long week of Firsts.. After Liberty's Firsts moments out of the womb it was clear her firsts breathes were labored.  The first time I've I had a child taken from me after birth...


First time getting to hold her,with all her many cords....

She Stayed for a week, slowly being removed from all those many cords... As her Lil Lungs became strong!

Her First and Greatest ICN Nurse EVER! Tom taught us so much, his love for Lil Liberty was such a gift from God.  If I had to leave her with anyone it would've been him!
